Hi Claudio,

>running WinXP Pro, we have a hidden folder named $NtServicePackUninstall$ under the Windows folder. This folder occupies a little more than 200Mb. Does anyone know what the heck is that for? May I remove that causing no harm to my computer?

Only one $uninstall folder? Than you haven't installed all the security patches? *g*

This folder contains all the files that the last service pack (SP1, presumably) has changed, in case you decide to uninstall the service pack in the Control Panel. If you don't want to uninstall the service pack, you can delete this folder safely. Actually, I've moved them from my laptop to my desktop to save hard disk space, but to still be able to uninstall just in case. ;-)
