If you had passed that onto Michael Moore before Sunday it would have gotten airtime!

We will not know for some time if the U.S. government was justified in its fear of Iraq or if fear of WMD in the hands of a dictator is the main reason for this war. I know many people support the war because they believe it is a just cause - and that just cause is one of many. I know many people that feel that there is no justification for war with Iraq no matter what. I know many people that support our troops but do not support the war. Everyone appears divided on this one and it looks like no one has 'proof' of anything-justification to go or even what our reasons to go are. What is amazing is that everyone feels strongly no matter which position they take. There are very few 'fence sitters.'

>>This is one viewpoint - that of the President of the United States and his Administration, as they have related to the world. Warning: It does not include the word, "OIL". This is not an attempt to second guess anyone but rather just attempt to understand the rationalizations as expressed by our leaders.
>>
>>If someone asked you, “Why did we go to war with Japan in 1941”?, you would answer,”Because of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor”! Clear and simple! Now if someone asks, “Why are we at war with Iraq”? things get more complex.
>>
>>This would be a perfect Bob Newhart comedy routine! I could just hear it now and it would be funny if people were not being killed. It also sounds like it has parallel meaning to the Microsoft Marketing Department, trying to explain to the world, “Why we should all use .NET technology”! In the case of Microsoft, they have changed the “why” on several occasions. Sooner or later they will find a use for .NET that the world can agree with.
>>
>> In the case of the Bush Administration, several reasons have been given as to why we are at war with Iraq.

>>
>>1. SH tried to kill Bush Senior.
>>2. People in Iraq die every day at the hands of SH.
>>3. SH has weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
>>4. SH used WMD against Iran.
>>5. SH used WMD against Iraq.
>>6. SH will not remove WMD from Iraq.
>>7. SH will use WMD against the United States or other countries.
>>8. SH is an evil man.
>>9. We must remove SH from power.
>>10. Iraq has ties to Al Queda.
>>
>>Either the times are more complex and we cannot find one reason to go to war or we have to keep adding rationalizations until a majority agrees. Now to get the world to agree might take a few more rationalizations and findings than the above list contains. I would imagine the Bush Administration Marketing Department could enlist the aid of the Microsoft Marketers and add to the list.
