That link is not applicable, I have win2000. I tried it and the program told me win2000 didn't need it.


The Error: "Data source name not found and no default driver specified"

I can find the datasource ( it was c:\windows\temp\IO.dbf ) I need to point to c:\documents and settings\myusername\temp\IO.dbf, that part I can fix.

but when i go to select the "Files of type:" Word/VFP or VFP Word (can't remember the exact description) is no longer there like it was in win98/word97.

If I select the "New Source" button then Other/Advanced then Microsoft Ole DB Provider for Visual FoxPro I can add the table as A DATA SOURCE.

I never used to have to list the table as a data source. I just used to select VFP/word like dbase from the list.
