What menu? How it's defined? How and when is it activated?

>I have a modal form that was created in VFP 5.0. Now, I run the same form in VFP 70 and when I use thisform.release to close the form (WindowType = 1 -modal), the menu bar disappear also. Why?

It's a sysmenu (Set sysmenu to mymenu) and it created with a table. I'm not using the menu designer and it's activated in the beginning sequence of the main prog. The menu bar show correctly after the prog who created the menu but when i exit a modal form the menu disappear.
