This is something one of you Automation gurus may find challenging.

I created a MSWORD document with just this single sentence in it....

This is not bold and this is bold word.

I bolded the second "bold" in the sentence.

Then I used "debug" (remember that ?) to view the machine language of this file and found these codes ....

54 68 69 73 20 69 73 20 6E 6F 74 20 62 6F 6C 64 20 61 6E 64 20 74 68 .... ETC ...

My point is this ...

There are absolutely no formatting codes anywhere in these codes. The only codes that are found are ones for the exact characters in the sentence.

I find that to be strange. Do you ?
