VFP 6 and 7. We have one app that occasionally screws up the contents of a memo field. It's happened at many client sites. We've determined that it's not related to new records, but replacing the values in existing records with new text. The odd thing is that what is being written into the middle of the memo is not something that ever gets written to a memo. It's a string that's in memory from an (we though) unrelated operation.

Anyone ever seen anything like this before? The FTP is not invalid and does not need to be fixed.
