Colin,
AFAIK, it is just one of many common acronyms that can be used in messages on UT. PMFJI is an acronym meaning "Pardon me for jumping in". It is simply a type of short cut you can use when typing a message. You can enable acronyms in the tools menu (upper right hand corner of the message) and when a common acronym is encountered in a message, it will display its meaning (in bold type) instead of the acronym. I'm sure there is a list of common acronyms somewhere on this site, I have picked up some by just reading messages but haven't take the time to look for the list.
