Controlling Outlook's address book can be easy. I do not know a way to control Outlook Express's -- I've been told Express is not a COM object and cannot be access. Hentzenwerke Publishing has a gook book on Office automation. Also MSDN has a good overview (I think its with VBA) -- sorry but I don't have the link.

If you want to play with Outlook (not Express), create an object in the command window and use IntelliSense to play with the methods.
