I think that comes with the definition of a dictatorship. When I was in Bangkok about 10 years ago, my wife and I toured the enormous compound where all the palaces are. What was notable is our tour guide talked about all the various rulers over the years and about who succeeded after each ruler died. He talke about it like it was just a natural death or transition of power. Someone in the group asked how they died, his reply was assassination. Some election processes are quite hazardous to one's health.
