Yes - when I use the following connection string in the connection designer in VFP7:
DATABASE=webconnect;SERVER=192.168.1.11; port=5432;UID=mbh;pwd=;provider=MSDASQLR;DRIVER=postgreSQL;
I get the error: "Connectivity Error: Could not connect to the server; Could not connect to remote socket."

Similarly, when I try to create a File DSN using the MS ODBC Administrator that launches the driver, I get the error "General error: Invalid file DSN"

I can ping the Linux box (In fact, I have Samab sharing a Linux directory)

>The only trouble I've ever had is trying to create remote views with the View Designer, but as I generally create my views in code this isn't a problem for me. In all other respects PostgreSQL has always worked perfectly.

"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so Brain, but "Snowball for Windows"?
