Thanks - the initial display of the grid is now fine i.e. checkboxes show just on the records they should. However, when move through the records, it doesnt stay that way. The checkboxes disappear.

Hmmm. That's odd. Can you post the expression that you are using for the column's DynamicCurrentControl?

If the column's Sparse property set to False?
