The Iraqis are not employing guerilla tactics, they are breaking the rules of war . That is a different thing entirely. The rules of war are not the same thing as rules of engagement. The rules of war specifically forbid using civilians as human shields during military conflict, intentionally locating military facilities and equipment in civilian areas, soldiers dressing as civilians during conflict, the use of biochemical weapons, feigned surrenders, and a lot more.

>You can hardly expect them to stand in ranks out in the open with their peashooters with no aircover or armor and be called "brave" as they get mown down... guerillas always adopt tactics that feel distasteful to better equipped enemies. The difference is that with everybody watching the USA army can't calm people down by hanging a few as the germans would have done during WWII.
