SCATTER ... NAME is now even more useful since you can do a SQL INSERT using that object.

I also use SCATTER NAME to compare records:
*position to record
SCATTER NAME oX1
* position to other record
SCATTER NAME oX2
lSame = COMPOBJ(oX1,oX2)
