Hmmm. I tried the article's code and it worked on a class derived from object. I tried it on a subclass of System.Windows.Forms.Button with the Click event and it didn't work so you aren't doing anything wrong.

It looks like MSFT is somehow hiding those methods of the Click event in their base classes. I guess my suggestion won't work, although it would have been cool if it did. From what I see there is no way get that invocation list from the built-in events.
