These guys make me look like a major promoter of MS practises...

What's with the continued whining about unfair tactics used by the Iraqis?? These guys have Viet-Nam experience. More critically they surely remember Somalia experience.
They've seen all these goings-on and much more in prior campaigns and SURELY they have tactics and plans to overcome that kind of stuff. Waiting is a known valid and effective tactic for some of it.

I can't believe that it gets repeated at each and every "briefing". Meanwhile very little actual INFORMATION is forthcoming in these "briefings".

And "unable to confirm" that bombs causing big craters and killing civilians originated with coalition bombings!!! Could be Iraqi fire coming back down on them - yea, right, causing a crater and building damage like that!
I hope we're all remembering how SCUDS in Gulf War I were proclaimed as so effective by General Schwartzkof (sp?), later proving to have had ZERO HITS!

Today's Pentagon briefing was a bit different because it did include a bit of new information - that the Syrians are sending night-vision equipment to Iraq and if it continues the U.S. will retaliate.
Geeez! If its happening, then just bomb the vehicles and be done with it! I didn't hear the USSR threatening the U.S. when Taliban/Al-Qaida were getting huge supplies from the U.S.
Is this type of threat only reserved for bullys on little guys??? Or is this an earlier implementation of THE PLAN, going after Syria now instead of later?

They're doing a fine job, all with words, of diminishing their might!
