Hi Soykan:
I've been playing with the sample code you sent. (Thanks again). You've clearly shown how one can display Outlook data and/or create new messages, contacts, appointments, etc., using a VFP interface.
However, what I was really trying to figure out was whether I could
search the Outlook folders for specific data, a Contact for example using a Contact's last name, format the data for display in a VFP form, make changes, then UPDATE Outlook's source data? Is this even possible?
For example, I want to enter a name in a VFP form, then have a method query Outlook's contact folder(s) for that name. If it doesn't exist, I'll know to create the contact from the VFP form when the user saves it. But if the contact already exists, I want to display the existing data in the VFP form, let the user modify it, THEN save the changes back to Outlook. Have you ever done this before?
ON the advice of others here, I purchased Tamar & Della's book "Microsoft Automation with Visual FoxPro" to find out if it's possible. Unfortunately, the book does not say anything about doing that. (At least, I can't find it.)
Any ideas? I sure appreciate your input.
