Combination FoxPro front-end and midle-tier, SQLServer - back end and Win OS is most powerfull solution.
Our VFP2002 tournament table was with 1,5 million rows and we search it without any problem. Copy of our tournament code in download section.
But with large databases SQLServer is more powerful. Some of our VFP applications are with more than 1000 tables, that's why this is not a problem.
We have application with more than 3000 concurent users from over 800 locations and customer is satisfied from it.
A lot of coleagues use WTS(WinTerminal Services) or Cytrix one with any problem
My SQL as a free of charge product compared with MS SQLServer2000 have a lot of weaknesses.
