Not having felt like such a dummy for some time, I need a guide to help me properly set up PostgreSQL on RedHat 8.
I kind of stumbled through it and thanks to help from Liam and Leland on the VFP forum I can access it through VFP/ODBC from my Win2K box, but a few administrative tools don't seem to be working too well so I think I may have screwed up the initial setup.
I allowed RedHat's install to install the package, and I'm using WebMin to administer it through the browser from the other machines in my Intranet.
I also downloaded pgAdminII to run from my Windows machine in a valiant attempt to set up some tables. For some reason, the 'Table' option under 'create object' is disabled. I was finally able to create a table through the SQL window. Maybe I'm expecting too much from pgAdminII?
Sooo... if there's a setup guide somewhere out there that will help me properly configure it on the Linux box, I'd be grateful.
TIA

I think so Brain, but "Snowball for Windows"?
