Just thought I would update this with my work-around. I couldn't find the actual problem, but in our report generator, I replaced all instances of Arial (W1) with Arial in the report file. Since we use Arial on all our reports, we should not have to worry about other fonts, such as Courier (W1).

Well, it's not pretty, but so far works like a charm.
