Well, you know Ed was always preaching to us about how VFP internally re-organizes memory so between the time you retrieved a pointer and the time you tried to copy the value from it, the pointer might not be valid any longer (and believe me, I've proved it to my self many times). When I saw this function, I knew immediately that it would come into usage with some API calls.:-)
