Don't look for that 2GB limit to change. There are many issues there not the least of which is the record locking strategy. If they were to remove the limit to 2GB then no previous version of VFP would honor the locks of the new version which is a major backwards compatibility issue. Also the motivation for Microsoft to increase the lmit is non-existant because they want you to buy SQL Server if you need tables greater than 2GB, and you probably should as it is more robust and more fault tolerant than VFP with that size data.
