This is my first Acord conference. I have only been working with the insurance field for close to 2 years. Prior to this year, my cohorts attended. I've been tasked with implementing Acord forms and IVANS mailbox updates in our next version of our VFP agency management software so I'll be going this year. Training funds are tight for us too. Each of us is only going to one conference and since I've been tasked with these new functions, I have to go to Acord's conference. That means no VFP conferences for me this year :o( We had NO conferences last year due to budget constraints so I guess I should be thankful I'm hitting at least one conference of some type this year.

>>I will be in Orlando (at the Disney Dolphin) May 17-21 for an Accord Seminar and I'm hoping there may be something going on there during that timeframe possibly. If not, I guess I will just have to spend my evenings at Disneyworld :o)

>Hi Tracy.
>I was at the Accord convention 2 years ago when the nearby fires were smothering us with smoke. Were you there then? No one here is going to the convention this year. Tapped out. We talked about one of my cohorts going for awhile because he has been working with the xmlife model the most, but it is not going to happen. When I went I was surpprised by the wild party at the end. It was at the House of Blues. I never knew insurance people could have fun. What a surprise!
