I created a v2000 mdb that accesses SQL Server backend. It runs fine on my Windows 2000 Pro machine, but there are problems on an XP computer. I set up a save button to be enabled/disabled based on whether any changes have been made and this is not keeping up in the 2002 environment. This means that the user can create a new record, but cannot save it. If the user moves from the new record to another one, there is an error message about can't go to that record and the new record is saved. When the user moves back to the new record, it cannot be edited. This all works fine on my machine.

Anyone run into this? Any hints about how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks for reading this,
CQ
