the item code is located in TABLE A (ar_codes)
the ONLY field in this table is item_codes

TABLE B is created from a cursor that holds an invoice description,
the first portion of the invoice description is the invoice number.
Bascially, the invoice description is a reference to a credit.

TABLE C is the actual current order file where as TABLE D is an archived order file.

The main objective is to see the original invoice from either TABLE C or D.
Once found, to see if it's a legit credit to be table, the information in table A must find a match because the order file will hold part information attached to the original invoice.

>We can give you a select or two that will do what you want but selects are designed to specific table structures and it is hard to tell you how to do the joins unless we know the names and structures of the tables involved.
