Tom,

>Are you saying that a statement made by a religious leader in Iraq cannot be trusted?

Yes, I am, if I don't trust what some presidents say! BTW, are you sure it was an IRAQI religious leader you saw? You know what the CIA folks can do...

No problem, the Iraq war is already won, it's just a matter of time and some more (Iraqi) civilians murdered. A few months from know nobody will remember, and who cares? The american bulldozers will be recontructing "free Iraq" and the flow of $$$ (to the US) will make everybody happy, isn't?

Fernando

PS. I care!

Some Quotes:

"According to the International Committee of the Red Cross, "dozens" of people were killed in American shelling.

"On arriving in the town of al-Hilla, they discovered that the hospital was completely unable to cope with the arrival of hundreds of injured people.

"Most of them were in a serious condition and they also witnessed a scene which made us use the word horror. It's that of several dozens of bodies which were completely blown to pieces."

"An A F P reporter said that there were what appeared to be "component devices from cluster bombs equipped with small parachutes covering a large area of the town".

"All of these are due to the American bombing to the civilian homes. Hundreds of civilians have been injured and many have been killed."

They are not PEOPLE, they are just "faceless civilians".
