OK, can you now please state the REAL problem?
Is it still a space issue, or is it a performance issue.
If it is still space, then PLEASE tell us the sizes of each and every .DBF/.CDX/.FPT involved.
If it is performance, please let us know things like:
0) type of workstation OS and type of Server OS, incl. versions;
1) observed response time (bad);
2) expected response (acceptable);
3) type of processing invloved (open form or save data or ???);
4) if on open form, describe the form (object counts, tables/views involved, etc);
5) if on save, please describe the saving routine (tables, indexes, views, etc)
