Tracy;

On a strange but “lighter note”, or "Some May Never forget":

A friend of mine is from Germany and was looking at real estate in Georgia. He found a real estate agent who was showing him around the state. Finally, the real estate agent said, ”Mr. Snyder, we have something in common with Germans. We both lost the war”!

>Wow, what a coincidence. When I was in college (the first time) I studied acting. Believe it or not, those tools came in handy when I was an interrogator! I was in Savannah in the spring of 1990 and it was such a terrific place. The only reason I would not have considered living there at that time was the hot sticky summers. I spent most of my time in the blues bars...strange how I ended up in NC where we have hot sticky summers!

>>10 years huh. I'd say that's real.

>>No military experience here. However, there is a lot of military here in Savannah and appreciate all of them very much. Coming out of high school, I really wanted to be an actor, and being a computer nerd was my hobby. Then I learned that in acting it's not what you know, but who you know. I didn't know anybody, so I went of the MIS degree.

>>Wow, an interrogator. That does sound like a bummer job.

>>>Real enough I guess. I was in the military myself for many years. I had two jobs: my first was as an aircraft fire control systems repairer (good job) and later I was an interrogator (not enjoyable). I entered in 81 and got out 10 years later.
>>>
>>>Forgot to ask: and you? Any military experience? It really does not make a difference except that it provides a different perspective on some issues. I am amazed how many times I run into people that were stationed with me somewhere sometime...
