I would not use a header file. That means that you have to recompile to distribute the app and can't fully test it. INI files are an easy to use option as they are text files and easy to modify. Microsoft recommends that you use the registry instead of INI files. I've used INI files, registry settings, DBFs, and MEM files. I prefer to use the Registry, but it is my preference.
