You're right, there is no historical, or experience (in the past), to support what I'm saying, but there is a new pattern in the behavior of the neo-conservatives that are now in charge of the US administration (as I've pointed to you in other messages), and that makes me think there can be a big change in behavior, from now on, due to the "new" US policy regarding the place of the US in the world, wich in turns support what I'm saying: US supremacy ("übber alles") will justify whatever action the US does.
