Hello, everybody

We have XML file which contains some payments history data and I need to create web page on intranet which will query that file using various filter and grouping criterios entered by user (including multiple choices for some fields). I would like to avoid using XSLT/Xpath queries. It should be done either in ASP or client side code (javascript).
Is there any way to query XML data source using SQL queries (like Select * from payments where amount>5000)?
