I'm the sort of fellow who hate politics... Unfortunately the history of our country made me feel like that.
The only thing I know is: I hate people talking about things they don't know. That always cause trouble.
What I truly believe is: let's respect each other and don't believe in all the crap that people say.
For example: as a guy who was born in Sao Paulo, I've always heard that people from the south of the country are "cold" people, and I spent a lot of my life believing on that, because it was what I heard. Well, when I finally have been at Rio Grande do Sul, that's not what I saw.
The same goes for the US: we've always heard a lot of things about it. Now that I've been leaving here for almost 5 months, I can tell you, it's the same feeling.
It's obvious that not all Brazilians think alike, and that not all North Americans think alike, and so on. As a Brazilian, I've been more welcomed in a lot of places in the US than I was in some places in Brazil. Therefore, it's hard to just start pointing fingers.
Sometimes I just think: c'mon people, let's just shut up our f... mouths and start leaving our lives!!! :)
