Title:
Error when starting application
Never seen this error before. We had an existing application in VFP6 that we recently upgraded to run to VFP8. We have our own inhouse written update procedure and it has run flawlessly for approximately ten times before as we continue to create new changes in the VFP8 app.
We are starting from the same VFP6 app each time. Yesterday afternoon I received this error on each of the two machines that we tested the new build...
"The application or DLL C:\lw2local\foxuser.dbf is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette".
I am not incorporating any foxuser.dbf in the updated application.
If I click on OK it continues on in the process (new foxuser table is created by the app). This only occurs when starting the app the first time. After that it runs normally because I am assuming that the new foxuser table was created by the VFP engine).
Not quite sure where to go from here with this error!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
