I hate to be so dense on this issue Doug, but I don't really understand where the source of the second buffer is. I assume that the AccPac DBC must be open although I can't find a place this is done explicitly. Perhaps it is opened implicitly by the application's DBC when the parameterized local view is opened in the form's DE. But the AccPac source table is not in the DE, nor would we want it to be for a number of reasons. The primary reason is security but also we don't want to drag all 50K records to the desktop -- especially when we start running the app over a 28.8 dialup connection via Citrix. What am I missing here?
