you can run it by using a product called wine but i have never done it, i know that there is an issue with updating the database depending on how you do it. there was a thread a while back about it but i don't have the number

i have developed an application using vfp 6.0 which works in the WINDOWS 98 operating system in a peer-to-peer network.

the client wants to go now go in for a file server type arrangement with the operating system as Red Hat Linux 7.2

can anyone please tell me if my current vfp application will work in the proposed new operating system or will it not work at all ?
