I'm having trouble using the OLElinkedobject in VFP7. I want to put an icon on my form that opens Word. And I want the word document to be stored in a general field of the database. I can put an OLEobject on the form and mark it as "show as Icon". When I click it, it opens Word, but the file is not the one in the database. There is no controlsource for this type of object. And if I put an OLElinkedobject on the form it has a controlsource that I can point to the general field, but the OLElinkedobject has no click methods. I must be missing something. Can anyone pint me to a resource that explains all this.
