Tom,
Just this morning I posted a new update to the Report Engine which now adds GIF Image support to the Report Engine ActiveX control. I also added a new method called ReportFormObject() which returns an Object Reference to the Report Preview Form without making the Report Previw Visible, This allows you to then get an object reference to the Report Engine ActiveX control and manipulate the pages on the Report Engine. This means you can then set the WatermarkText Property on all of the pages in the Report, Add New Pages, Add more Text, Charts and more. You can now easily email a Report or save it to a PDF without a UI. Then after you've done what you want to the Report you can then simply call the SHOW() Method of the Object Reference and display the Report Preview.

Recently I saw Rich Simpson's Report Engine and was extremely
impressed by it. The actual rendering of PDF reports by his
Report Engine was probably 10X faster than Adobe's.
