I have two versions of the .NET Framework installed on my machine: 1.0.3705 and 1.1.4332. Anyway, the sample runs just fine.

Does the testing page work if you try to open the Web Service through the Web Browser using an URL like this:

http://localhost/NorthwindWebService/GetNorthwindData.asmx

It seems to be a security problem where the compiler doesn't get access to the assemblies in order to update them.
