1. You can't make the cursor visible in the reports data environment.

2. Once you create the cursor you can index it just like a table as long as the cursor is not buffered.

3. Once the index is in place you can set relation from another table. Saying that, I try not to use relations and have all the data for the report in the cursor. Sometimes this is not practical though.
