There are some bugs with the Report Designer in Right-To-Left Enabled versions of Windows that have been anoying me for many versions, and that still did not disapeared in VFP8 ( and yes, i sent this bug to MS the proper way for every version of VFP since 6 ).
Although there have been some improvements in VFP6 SP4 and later that fixed the most important problems, there still are many left.
The main bug remaining is the impossibility to see fields in design mode in most fonts. The only fonts that i can use are either Fonts that include both languages ( English and Hebrew ) or some Printer Fonts.
If for instance i set a label to any True Type or Open Font ( like Book Antiqua ) that does not include Hebrew Chars in it, then i do not see it at all in Design mode, but it apears at runtime.
Also, to preview reports, i have to use proportional fonts like Courier New, since True Type fonts do not align well ( sometimes one letter is on top of the other ).
This has been tested in Win2k up to SP3, WinXP Pro SP1( both Hebrew Enabled ) and VFP7 Sp1 and VFP8.
I noticed also that when trying to choose a font in the report designer, the Script combo-box is disabled for all fonts. Maybe if this was enabled and i could set it to Western or Hebrew ( that's the way it works in other programs ), this may fix the problem. If anybody knows any work around, please let me know.
