Hi Fernando,

I said before that they have the right to make their own choices, and their people will have to pay the high price for that (murders, torture etc), so they'll learn the real meaning of the word freedom. Freedom can't be bought at a Mc Donald's shop or put down your throat by someone else. No one have the right to say what others need or what is good for them, using brutal force for such intent, IMHO.

You just negated the U.N. as that is a part of its charter. I misunderstood you previously then as I understood that you wanted a coalition of countries under the authority of the U.N. to handle these situations.

>Iraq is a threat to the US? Well, Bush already said Iran and N. Korea are threats. So more war is expected, just to list the first ones in the line (Lybia, Syria, Pakistan, China...).

I imagine that the administration is hoping that the action in Iraq will also serve the purpose of sending a clear message to the 'axis of evil' that the U.S. will act if it deems its security is threatened. This thought scares many U.S. citizens too Fernando. When and where will it stop? A clear threat to the security of the U.S. is one thing and I believe the majority of U.S. citizens would support any action to protect the internal security of the U.S., but that raises the same questions: what are clear threats and how many countries pose a threat that can only be handled by military action?
