With VFP 6, I did this through a small setup program, created with the Setup Wizard. Since the Setup Wizard insisted on installing something, and I didn't really need to copy an executable, I installed calc.exe. The thusly created setup program can include ActiveX controls, updates to the runtimes (DLL), etc.

I am not sure how this would be done with VFP 8.

The way I explained it above, a small program needs to be run on each client machine. I don't know if this can be automated any further.

Hilmar.
