>Thank's George, I've used Dll's before and nothing seems to be a problem to read them be it 32 or 16 bit versions. I'm programing to acces a biometric reader and this people tell me that the DLL's can only be accesed in C++. I saw their functions (parameters are long,short, strings, the normal stuff) and the DLL's are all 32 bits. I was wondering if I was missing something, or they don't know of the capabilities of Visual Fox.

As long as that's the case (the data types), it shouldn't be a problem to get the return values from the DLLs. Naturally, things like structures with embedded pointers can be problematic, but in many cases can be accessed with a bit of extra work.
