Are you sure when you close the form that the instance of the form is actually being destroyed (i.e. make sure that it isn't being hidden instead of being released)? One thing you might want to do is to set up an ON SHUTDOWN event in the main application that dumps that state of the system to a text file (i.e. it performs a DISPLAY STATUS TO file). This will help in diagnosing this kind of problem.
