Hi

I am using the "set printer to name" command to direct the output of a report
to a network printer. The Printer I want to address is "\\hp laserjet 1200 series pcl 6 on host". However the command does'nt work, I think because of the spaces in its name. The printer has been shared on a 2000 server workstation on a 2000 Server. I spoke to the network guys about renaming the printer, but they said in Server2000 you cannot change the priner name.

I can address the printer using the "Prompt" addition to the print command , but this allows the user to print an important documnent locally instead of
in its right location.

Any ideas

Best Regards
