I've been asked a question I can't answer, and suspect I'll see even more coming my way.

Today's little gem:
Do you want the Navision server O/S installed in German switchable to English, or in English switchable to German?
Do you want the Navision sofware (and database) installed in German switchable to English, or in English switchable to German?

In this case our users are German, in Germany.
We have to access the Navision system from the corporate systems (VFP) in the UK to:
Create customer accounts (phone customers)
Create invoices (amounts from telephone bills)
Create credits against customer accounts
Create supplier accounts (consultants)
Create payments (sales commissions to consultants)
Obtain account balances
Obtain list of unpaid invoice references


Either that has to be done via interface files and loaded/extracted in bulk.
Or we use a published API/ODBC to read/write directly to Navision.

Q1: Is that affected at all by the choice of language of the Navision installation?
Q2: Any recommendation for Navision forums/support gratefully received.
