Are you using W2k SP3? There were problems with some cameras after SP3 was installed. The associated software would no longer popup in the dialog box (it would be empty) after SP3 was installed on W2K. It required reinstalling the camera software to display the apps. Typically, when the software is available in the dialog box, you can click on the option to no longer show the box.

Anyway, as to disabling the dialog box, I have this in my notes for my camera:


Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Scanners and Cameras -> (Highlight the Camera) Properties -> Events tab -> deselect Imaging as a registered application -> Apply.

Next you plug in the camera, it should skip the Event on Device dialogue and automatically go to the Zoombrowser application.
