Renoir,
The Triangle FoxPro Users Group has not had a meeting to my knowledge since around fall of 1999. Come to think of it, the last meeting was one that I did a presentation. You know me, I probably scared the remnants off.
To have a user's group, there normally needs to be a few dedicated individuals who are willing to take the time to plan and setup presentations <bg>. The TFUG got to the point where it seemed pointless since the local VFP community dwindled down and the organizers were burdened with always presenting. It got so bad that they even had me present! <vbg>

>Jim is teaching a Foxpro course up in Wisconsin this week. I sent him an email asking about active groups in this area. He's pretty good about responding. Or as he puts it, "I'm jonesin' for my email!" while hitting the inside of his elbow with a couple fingers. I thought David Kern had one going at one time. Doug Ringley might also know.

>>Yes, I took Jim Duffy's training a few years ago, very good. From what I understand, there is currently only 1 VFP user group in NC and sadly it is 5 hours away by car from where I am located.

>>>Send Jim Duffy or Cindy Winegarden a note. They're both in NC and they can probably help you.

>>>Have fun!

>>>>Ok, all of these posts for VFP usergroups has got me itching to go to a user group meeting. However, in all my research and emails that I've sent out I have yet to find an 'active' VFP usergroup in NC. I've looked at the MS usergroup contacts and the ones on the UT. Anyone know of any valid usergroup contacts for NC that are actually holding meetings with presentations?
