I have set an EPSON DFX-5000 on a Windows 2000 server. It use to be very fast under UNIX with a character base application that was just sending straight text to the printer without any particular fonts. Now, it is very slow. It takes whatever fonts and it is slow. I tried to configure it as a generic text but I get the same. When I will print from FOX via the report generator, will I be able to be fast ?

Anyone use this printer with success ?
