Yes. Both can coexist in the same machine, in separate directories. Just that the links on Windows Explorer will point to the program installed last (generally VFP8)

No general problems. You may have some issues in some queries with the Group By clause. See help for Set Enginebehavior

Win98 and XP with no problems. It is not officially supported in Win95 but it can be made to run by installing somemissing components, like VC7++7.0 runtimes, GDI+, etc.
