the time for protest was before military action started. Now that it is underway, the WORST thing would be for popular protest to halt the attack; that would send the wrong message to fanatics who are dying (literally) to have a go at the West.
All of us must now hope for and do our best to promote a speedy conclusion. That includes contributing to the military cleanup afterwards- e.g. medical assistance, mine clearing, etc etc.
